The Hip Hop Symphony -At the Parker Playhouse on April 6th, 2013.
The Hip Hop Symphony is a long over due collaboration of 2 very powerful forms of entertainment and musical genres.
This musical dance production brings together the cutting edge of hip hop dance with the soothing sounds of classical music and instrumentation. Comprised of 13 urban street dancers, a 20 piece orchestra, a rock band and a small choir, HHS definitely covers a full spectrum of musical genres, cultures and eras.
In the past The Hip Hop Symphony has been successful due to the incredible amount of support from sponsors and donors. Along the way we have managed to join forces with foundations that not only share our vision but appreciate the amount of opportunities that we provide for professional working artist as well as young aspiring artist in the community. Presently for the 2013 Hip Hop Symphony production we are joined by the James L Knight Foundation, Broward Cultural Council, NEA and several local businesses and individuals who wants to see this production on Broadway.
